What's new in LAYON.
Every version, newest first. LAYON offers its updates when it starts. The current version is LAYON 2.0.2, for Windows and Mac, on the download.
LAYON 2 · Windows & Mac
LAYON 1.x · Windows
For the photographers who use it: their license also works in LAYON 2, at no cost.
v1.5.9
• LAYON 2 is here: once, a few seconds after an album opens, LAYON tells you about it — Windows and Mac, LAYON ART, a redesigned editor, export for social media. With a paid license, LAYON 2 is free for you, for life. "Get LAYON 2" opens the download page.
• LAYON 1.x keeps working as before, and you can keep both installed. Nothing else changes in this version.

v1.5.8
• ART for whole albums: in ART, the new “Whole albums” tab lists complete album mock-ups made by LAYON. “Use for this album” lays out every collage at once — backgrounds, texts and empty frames — and you simply drag your photos onto the collages. Your photos stay in the gallery, and Ctrl+Z brings your previous collages back.
• A mock-up keeps its design while you fill it: photos go into the free frames, the collage is never re-arranged and no frames are added. Drop more photos than a collage has free frames and nothing is placed — LAYON tells you how many fit. Each collage shows how many frames are still free, then “✓ Complete”.
• To switch a photo on a full collage, drop the new one on the ⇄ Replace pill in the middle of a frame. Moving or deleting a photo leaves its frame empty, ready for another.
• Fixed: two downloaded ART designs whose backgrounds used a picture with the same file name could show each other's background.
